Description from the packaging.

SIZZLE is a game of strategy and timing, in which you must respond to the pattern on screen and complete the task of coloring the glaring white squares, while avoiding the dreaded monsters of Sizzle Lake.

Timing is everything. Timing, that is, and precision. For SIZZLE is a game which requires a steady hand and a plan of action, or else you'll sizzle on one of the red squares, trapped and cornered.

SIZZLE- strategic video gamesmanship at the highest level.

LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

Press SHIFT and RUNSTOP keys. Release RUNSTOP key, then release SHIFT key. Press PLAY on recorder.

PLAYING THE GAME

Guide your man around the screen. Color as many white squares as needed to proceed to the level. On succeeding levels you must cover more of the white squares. Avoid the two monsters. Score points for the pellets you get. Also score points if you move without pressing the joystick button. There are two modes of movement. First is normal: use the joystick. Second is fast: press the joystick button as you slide 4 spaces in the direction you are heading. You have 90 seconds. You start with 3 men and you receive a bonus man at 1500 points. Do not touch the red squares. Red squares appear after you pass over yellow squares.
