Description from the packaging.

This is it. Your chance to hit the big time, after all the small time jobs, the empty leads, the dead end roads. The museum gleams like a still jewel in the night. Silence fills the air as you scale the walls with your high tech equipment. Once inside, you look at all the glorious treasures before you, but reject them. You came for one thing only... the Zabar Diamond... the largest jewel in the world, worth an untold fortune.

Use your stealth and skill to make off with this giant, gleaming treasure and escape detection in...

Midnight Museum.

LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

1) Press SHIFT and RUNSTOP keys.
2) Release RUNSTOP key. Release SHIFT key.
3) Press PLAY on recorder.

GAME INSTRUCTIONS

1) You are in the Topkapi Museum. Your mission is to steal the world's biggest diamond and then escape. First you must locate the diamond, the exit will then be revealed. You have sixty seconds to get the diamond and fifteen to escape.

2) Use the "A," "Z," and cursor keys to move. Press the "◀" key to get clues as to the direction of the diamond relative to your current position. Red horizontal bars mean the diamond is directly above or beneath you, vertical bars directly left or right; corner bars: both above or below and left or right.

3) The direction clues cease when you are at various distances from the diamond depending on the level of play.

4) You have seven thru-the-wall moves available: press the space bar then the direction key.

5) Once you are sure you have located the diamond, press the F7 key to reveal it. An error here causes you to lose.

6) There are three levels of play determined by the number of direction clues allowed and by the cut/off distance between you and the diamond: the area within which clues are cutoff... not shown.

7) Use the F1 key for a new game or the F3 key for the levels menu.

8) You may also detect the diamond via sound: The diamond being under the highest pitched sound in the museum. Press the "S" key and momentarily a direction key to switch into and out of the sound mode.
