Description from the packaging.
PANIC RUN
Your radar read-out indicates an obstacle storm ahead. You scan the stellar navigational aid system for an alternate path. The computer reports "Negative." You must move ahead, through what looks like a massive meteor shower.
But you have a secret weapon, a shield which deflects the savage assaults of the razor-sharp, flaming molten rocks flying through space.
Navigate your craft through this hellish storm, and emerge victorious over the hazards of space.
Panic Run- a game of galactic adventure and strategic maneuvers.

LOAD "PANIC RUN" (hit RETURN and press PLAY on cassette unit). After the computer responds with "FOUND PANIC RUN" it will load the game. When loading completes, the computer will respond with "READY." Leave the PLAY switch down on the cassette unit. Do not rewind the cassette. Type "RUN" (hit RETURN) and the computer will finish loading the game and the game will begin.
PLAYING THE GAME
After the title appears the game will begin. The space ship will appear at the bottom of the screen in a lunar landscape. The ship is attempting to escape a meteor shower. Use the JOYSTICK to move the "shield" to the top, bottom, left, or right of the ship. The shield protects the ship from meteors which will otherwise destroy it. You have 5 ships and must reach the top of the screen to safety. Don't panic, use best reflexes to save the ship.
