Description from the packaging.

We at Rantom are proud of this game. It is not a maze game, a ladder game, a game of alien hordes, or a text game. It is a new concept unlike any we have seen. Throughout the development of this game, we had one wish: to create a game in the manner of classic games like Backgammon, Cribbage, or Monopoly. These games provide a relaxing pleasure that can be enjoyed by family or friends again and again. We are pleased to present Trust, the first game to provide the graphics and convenience of computers with the simple pleasures of the tried and true classics.

The Play
Play alternates between two phases, the Hall of Knowledge and the Word Merchant. The Hall requires quick reflexes and contains outstanding color and 3-D graphics. The Word Merchant requires intelligence, thought, and a good vocabulary. The player directs a gnome through the Hall of Knowledge, grabbing gems of wisdom as they appear in the colorfall. He must avoid evil influences that will try to grab him and lure him away from his task. His only defense is his speed and agility, but he does have a guardian angel (operated by another player) who can shine a flash of brilliance on the influence, causing it to stop and ponder its evil purpose. At any time, the gnome can go to the Word Merchant, where his gems of wisdom will transform into letters. He then constructs a word with his letters and offers it to the Merchant. The Merchant asks the opponents if the word is legal. If so, the Merchant accepts the word and increases the gnome's I.Q. One-four players get 10 tries as the gnome. High I.Q. wins.
