In a cooperative effort, Moonbase Commanders (players) join forces to stop evil aliens called "Zorlyns" from destroying Earth.

As players answer Math problems correctly, they gain the opportunity to shoot down Zorlyn spaceships and score points. The Moonbase Commanders must score more points than the Zorlyns in order to win the game. Zorlyns score points every time a player is unsuccessful at stopping a Zorlyn spaceship by:

1) answering a math problem incorrectly.
2) missing the spaceship while trying to shoot it down.

Space Math is designed to reinforce basic math concepts, requiring learners to compute the answers to a variety of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems.

The exact type of problem that the learner will encounter within a specific operation can be determined by a teacher or parent, i.e., 1 digit, 2 digits, borrowing, carrying, etc.
