Battle your way through the temple of the Philistines... in a challenging computer action game!
A Prisoner in Chains!
That's you... You're Samson! And high in the Temple of the Philistines you hear your captors celebrating your defeat with eerie music. But this is impossible! Aren’t you the mighty hero who has delivered the Israelites from these enemies for so many years?
Don't let them get away with this! Fight your way down the six floors of your prison. Swing your huge jawbone-club against the Elite Temple Guards! Look out- there's Delilah! She's beautiful, but she's sly! In the Temple basement, leap over the Guard Lion and get your hands on those temple pillars. Heave them apart! Ha ha haaa! That will silence the noise upstairs!!
You pick up points as you progress, but go carefully from floor to floor or you’ll fall on your head! Once you've perfected your escape, sizzle up the action even more with any of the 12 Special Settings. Add speed! Add pits and secret doors! Change from day to night, and back! And call in Delilah’s fiery scissors!
Samson and Delilah was inspired by four chapters from the Bible (Judges 13-16). (In case you’ve forgotten the story, we've provided you with a quick summary). But no knowledge of the Bible is required! Just jump right in!
