Description from the packaging.

S.C.I.M.M.A.R.'s is a game of gladiatorial armored combat in the far future. You prove your skill and bravery in one of the small ground cars that are closer to an armored one man fighter than a contemporary combat vehicle. S.C.I.M.M.A.R. is an acronym for Surface Contragray Individual Manned Mobile Antivehicle Raider. They were originally used as patrol and raiding vehicles in the mobile wars on the huge deserts of Poolbl, where they proved so useful that they were soon in use for patrolling dead moons and Jovian type planets. Then came the recent upsurge in personal dueling, and the S.C.I.M.M.A.R. soon became the plaything of the aristocrats who wanted to prove their manhood and defend their honor. Zooming around at 400 to 800 meters/second in armored vehicles was just the thing. It took little skill to drive one of them, but quite a bit to be good at it.

S.C.I.M.M.A.R.'s takes place on the planet Trulgren 1, a fair sized volcanic planet, too close to the sun to have much of an atmosphere or much life. It does, however, have several huge flat plains of volcanic rock that fit the purposes of the wealthy of Trulgren 4 quite well. This is where you will fight, and perhaps die.

S.C.I.M.M.A.R.'s is ready to run on your Apple II, II+ or IIe computer with 3.3 DOS and a disk drive, 48K memory. This computer game takes full advantage of your microcomputer's color graphics and sound capabilities.
