Expand your geography horizons.
By playing Rescue Geo 1, you will learn how to evaluate and apply geographic information based on the six essential elements of the National Geography Standards:

1. The world in spatial terms.
2. Places and regions.
3. Physical systems.
4. Human systems.
5. Environment and society.
6. The uses of geography.

Besides its primary mission of acquainting players with U.S. Geography, the game encourages cooperation between children- two players can play in a cooperative effort, accomplishing team goals.

• Players collect tools which they use to fix the data banks and catch the bugs.
• Once inside the data bank, it is the player's job to answer challenging geography questions. Players gain points as the computer is repaired.

Many levels of challenging, educational fun.
In order to rescue Geo 1, players will have to sharpen their geography skills. They'll learn more about reading maps, processing geographic information and identifying places and regions. They'll also learn about protecting the environment. At the completion of each game, players can print a "Certificate of Achievement" which thanks them for their efforts in saving Geo 1 and provides a record of player performance.
