Description from the packaging.
Featuring Missions And Targets Based On Dale Brown's Best-Selling Novel, "Sky Masters".
It's happening, isn't it?" asked Elliott. "I mean, what we knew would happen when we abandoned Clark?" "Looks that way", replied Curtis. The relaxed San Diego night was not reflected in the attitudes of the two generals. They weren't reminiscing as they sat on the porch of the noisy Officer's Club bar.
Curtis spread his hands on the table. "The Chinese have crunched the northern Philippines, and are ready to swallow Manila and the southern islands. They're also pushing Kim II-Sung to make another run into the South Korea, and they've helped him get Rogan up and running for the attack".
"Radio Object-Guided Airburst Nuclear", said Elliott, staring out across the bay at the blazing sunset. "If the North Koreans use it, the Sea of Japan 'll turn that same color". The two warriors watched in silence as the sky and ocean changed from flaming orange to the deepest blood red in a matter of seconds.
"Why drag Megafortress into it? My crew deserves a break after Sledgehammer. If it's so bad, why not go through regular channels for a change?" Elliott's exasperation with the system was evident.
"No time. The powers that be won't interface directly in the Philippines during the election season, and they're flat denying the problem in Korea. If we wait for them to move it'll be too late".
Curtis handed him a manila portfolio stuffed with notes, photographs, and a couple of computer disk. "Ivan's going to help with fuel and ordnance. Everything you need from their engineering side is in here. Our side can't know about what you're up to until the Chinese game is exposed. The Russians were our first source on this whole mess."
"Korea and the Philippines. That's just great. Last time I fought down there I nearly died of malaria". Elliott stared into his beer. "What the hell. Beats dodging Snaky SAMs at Nellis".
