In Operation Com-Bat there are six different battlefields to choose from. Each scenario challenges you to use different strategies. You may have to move your heavy artillery closer to enemy lines, or refuel more often because of harsh terrain. All these decision are yours, Sir. The computer awaits your command. Scroll through each different terrain to determine placement of your troops. With air support, you can fly reconnaissance while inflicting damage to the enemy troops from your plane's armament. Play the computer to sharpen you skills. When you're ready, you can play a friend via modem in a real-time battle. Match your wits against his. Each move is displayed on the other's computer. It's like being in the same room or battle field, in this case. Oh yes, and may the best man win! Each terrain offers 12 war scenarios. Animated artillery, armor, and supply units make Operation Com-Bat a real-life strategy game. Digitized sounds of gun fire, air support and movement of your troops take you right into the battle. Simply point and click to move your battle unit to a new coordinate. Click on the fire button to see each unit fire upon the enemy. If you've used the right strategy, watch your opponent's pieces being destroyed. Your goal, of course, is to destroy the enemy's Headquarters. Not such an easy task though, for they too are devoted to destroying you first! Remember, this is war. There can be only one victor.
