Description from the packaging.
Graphic Generator gives you easy access to the full power of character graphics found in your Atari 400/800 home computer (32K). Simple editing commands let you create shapes, symbols and type styles. Save libraries of characters to diskette for use in your own application programs.
Graphic Generator may be used anywhere special graphic displays are required:
- Arcade games
- Foreign languages
- Special type fonts
- Computer languages (such as APL)
- Mathematical representation
- Scientific notation
- Physics, Chemistry and Electrical symbols
The Graphic Generator diskette comes with five simple text fonts. These include files called Greek, Roman, Stop, Outline, and Space. Two demonstration programs show you how to use your own characters in a program and how to do simple animation.
Graphic Generator provides many needed features. Save up to five character sets in memory at a time (with 48K). Create multi-colored characters in the text mode by previewing and selecting from a palette of 128 color combinations. A special Graphics Mode Generator gives easier access to graphics modes 4 and 5 from BASIC. A matrix command combines multiple characters and moves them on the screen as one. Menu-driven for ease of use, Graphic Generator adds interest to your programs and brightens up your displays.
