Description from the packaging.
First rule of the galaxy: No one ever crash-lands on a friendly planet.
Zax is a non-stop action adventure for gamers who crave an all-out assault of enemies to vaporize.
Castaway on a strange and violent world Zax has no choice but to try to navigate hostile environments trying to acquire the necessary resources to repair his ship and escape.
- Blast your way across 100+ maps.
- Explore 7 different environments.
- Upgrade your weaponry for maximum fire power.
- Scalable environments lets you zoom in on the action.
- Evade traps, puzzles and brainteasers designed to test your skill.
- Non-stop multiplayer action over the Internet or LAN (up to 16 people).
When you crash-land on this planet, the locals don't exactly roll out the red carpet. In Zax you are a one-man army trying to find your way home. If you want to survive, it's your basic kill or be killed situation.
Fast wits and an itchy trigger finger will get you further than good manners and diplomacy.
Friend:
Weapons
You start small but Zellon, your artificial intelligence, is constantly working on new modifications to inflict greater damage on your enemies.
The Korbo
The native race to the planet. They are intelligent, yet primitive and have been enslaved by the robots.
The korbo have been praying for a savior and most are pretty sure it's you.
Foe:
Rog Coil
Quick moving, lightly armored patrol robots using energy pulse weapons to guard the jungle and caves.
Tougher than they look and often patrol in packs.
Om
This robot has convinced the Korbo that he is an angry god that should be obeyed and worshipped.
Om is not pleased with your presence and will pit his robotic minions against you.
Lord Om Overseer
The most devastating robot in Om's service. Capable of discharging missiles in tandem from either arm.
Scorpio Flyer
Korbo crowd control. This flying bot hovers close to the ground discharging large laser fire and energy grenades to disrupt Korbo aggression.
You're just getting warmed-up. There are 8 other bots, 5 species of wildlife and a mysterious spirit standing between you and your home.
