Description from the packaging.
A Story by Amanda Graham and Donna Gynell.
Arthur is just and ordinary brown dog in Mrs. Humber's pet shop. All he wants is a home and a pair of old slippers to chew. He tries to get himself adopted by pretending to be all sorts of other animals. Yet it's only when he decides to be just Arthur that his dreams come true. Young readers will fall in love with Arthur as they learn to read.
Four steps to learning to read.

Professor Gooseberry's I Can Read Club. Learning to read is one of the most important tasks your child will ever have to accomplish, but it doesn't have to be difficult.
Professor Gooseberry's I Can Read Club use multimedia adaptations of popular children's literature to make learning to read both easy and fun.
The I Can Read Club combines scientifically proven classroom techniques on an easy-to-use interactive CD-ROM for learning at home. Unlike game-based reading software, Professor Gooseberry's I Can Read Club has been developed by educators and is based on sound pedagogical principles.
