Three Joystick Smashing Classics! 3-in-1 from MicroProse.
- MiG Alley Race
- Hellcat Ace
- Air Rescue
Ok, Top Gunner… here's your chance!
Forget the fancy air-to-air missiles, radar and all the things that make modern air combat different from historical fighter flying. Now you have the chance to prove you can be a great "hot stick" with these three exciting, joystick-smashing classics from MicroProse. These fun products will let you experience the wind in your face and the intense dog fighting action of some of the world's most honored and respected combat aviators: the original stick-and-rudder fighter pilots! -Major Bill, over 3000 flying hours.
Hellcat Ace.
Learn what it takes to be a real fighter pilot as you dodge and chase your way through the skies while trying to skirt enemy hits on your own fragile craft. Hellcat Ace is the original MicroProse air-to-air combat simulation. It features loops, bailouts, ocean ditching, limited ammunition and all the intense combat flying maneuvers of World War II. Practice will teach you the eye/hand coordination needed to be a real fighter pilot, and helped Major Bill double his actual strafing skill against other real fighter jocks. Competition for 1 to 4 players. Do you have the skills necessary to survive and win?
MiG Alley Ace.
Once you've earned your wings as a Hellcat, move up to the challenge of MiG Alley Ace! How about an F-86 Sabre/MiG-15 dogfight as you take on a friend in thrilling split-screen, head-to-head aerial combat. Or the two of you can fly in tandem, as squadron leader and wingman, against two computer controlled Korean enemy aircraft. MiG Alley Ace was nominated best multi-player game of the year. And Family Computing rated it excellent for overall performance and value. This is the only game of its kind that has this exclusive one-on-one, pilot against pilot, dogfighting capability and excitement!
Air Rescue.
Ready to have pure fun? Air Rescue is an exciting arcade game that reinforces your fighter pilot hand/eye coordination. You must skillfully maneuver your assault chopper through a treacherous underground labyrinth. Your mission: search out and rescue the captives trapped inside. To get to them you must evade enemy patrol craft that appear from all directions, spitting missiles, planting minefields and activating nuclear furnaces. Immerse yourself in the non-stop action of Air Rescue! This program demonstrates the need for quick action and expert helicopter fighter flying. For 1 to 8 players.
The action is simulated… The excitement is real!
