The future of the Atarian Federation is in your hands.
Chut, the evil mongrel Zylon Master, plans to destroy the Atarian Federation's Celos IV star system. He commands an awesome new Zylon Master Force, supported by super Zylon Attack Bases. He has his sights set on the planet Teris. And who knows from there?
Time is of the essence! Your mission is to pilot the hottest fighter in the galaxy- the Liberty Star- and to destroy the entire Zylon Master Force. Avail yourself of three on-board weapon systems: Pulse Lasers, Ion Cannons, and Surface Star Bursts. Warp between the two systems- protecting friendly Federation cities and dropping Star Bursts on Zylon Attack Bases.
Yet for all its power, even the Liberty Star has limits. SO you'll also have to wipe out all the Zylon Attack Bases. They're stationed on planets within the Zylon stronghold. If you fail to annihilate the bases, Zylon slaves will build fully armed re-enforcement squadrons as fast as you can destroy them.
Chut plans to conquer the Celos IV star system- he'll destroy all Federation cities on the planets Arcanum, Seridus, Teris, and its moon Imbri. Should Chut and his Zylon Master Force succeed, surely the Federation will be lost!
