Description from the packaging.
In 1926, at Wentworth, England, a match took place between two teams of professional golfers from the USA and Great Britain.
The result was a convincing win for the British. The match was the brainchild of two men; Walter Hagen- an American golfing legend- and Samuel Ryder, a wealthy English businessman. The competition took place under the rules of the PGA, and the winning team received a trophy, kindly donated by Samuel Ryder. This was the beginning of the Ryder Cup.
Ryder Cup Golf leaves nothing out. It gives you the chance to analyze every course, every hole and every shot. You must get every detail spot-on to keep up with the calibre of players you'll be going round with. The mechanics of the swings from the tee to green have been intricately studied and replicated to make the game as close as possible to the real thing. The incredible detail of the courses themselves add to the feeling of actually being out on the course, being one of the team and taking part in one of the sport's greatest events.
- Experience the thrill of playing in the world's premier golfing event.
- Compete with the professionals on the prestigious Belfry course or try your clubs on any of the other three courses.
- Ryder Cup Golf plays with startling speed and detail so real you can almost smell the grass.
