Power Politics is the game that lets you run for president, campaigning as George Bush, Bill Clinton, Ross Perot, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan or any other candidate from 1960 to 1962. You can even run for president yourself.
Up to three players compete against each other or play against the computer in this complete simulation of an election campaign. Power Politics includes all the elements of a presidential election campaign, with speeches, advertising, fund raising and dirty tricks. Over 40 real-life candidates are rated for speaking, experience, charisma, stamina, debating and fund raising. Each contender is also ranked from ultra conservative to ultra liberal on 13 key issues. Your ability to put the right "spin" on issues to win voters is crucial to victory, and you can access public opinion polls about the issues on a state-by-state or national basis.
You decide where to campaign, which networks to buy, now to position your candidate. Will you call out the dirty tricksters? Can you carry the key states? Do you have enough funding? On election night, the computer calculates the electoral votes and declares the winner. In case of a deadlock, the computer even simulates selection of president by congress.
