The situation is wide open for a brilliant commander, a great strategist, a leader of men... You! As King you command an army, hire mercenaries, make unholy alliances with barbarians and brigands.
Your most powerful weapon is your Great Wizard who does your bidding with horrifying spells of destruction and transmutation at the forces and cities of your enemies. With every success his powers grow more awesome, gaining the use of even more bizarre spells to combat your opponents.
Every Parthian King thirsts to be Emperor. Your strategy, tactics and leadership will gain you an Empire.
As your adversaries fall at your feet and neutral citystates are commandeered, you must carefully plan your strategy for the next conflict. Heavy taxes must be levied on your subjects to finance the victory that is within your grasp. Citystates that you have conquered must be held as you thrust onward to final victory.
A far off land... a distant time... an Empire... is yours. The world of Parthian Kings awaits you with conquest and pageantry.
The computer will play any or all of your opponents, allowing you to play at any time, or with up to four players.
