Orbiter is the shuttle simulator based on the actual commands and procedures used by NASA. It will test your knowledge about the shuttle and the mechanics of space flight.

With Orbiter you can use your skill to command a successful shuttle launch; travel in orbit and view the Earth, Moon, stars and other orbiting objects; take a space walk; launch, rescue or repair satellites as well as other "missions".

Panels and graphics displays simulate, as closely as possible, the experience of launching, landing and performing the delicate missions required of the astronauts who pilot and crew the space shuttles for NASA. Random mechanical failures and complications may occur as you attempt to meet your mission objectives.

The activities you perform and the number of hours expended during the mission will be kept in the Astronaut Log. You will have a limited amount of time to complete your flight objectives before your life support systems run low and you are forced to return to Earth.

You will experience one of the closest things to actually being in the commanders seat of a space shuttle.
