Monarch is a simulation game that installs you as the supreme ruler of your own personal nation. You can do absolutely anything in your kingdom that you want. Now you can prove that you can run a country better than most politicians!

There are some conditions though. Your country must be developed of the people will stage a coup. The workers must be paid and the job of developing the various sectors of your land must be done. You have cities to build, food to grow, trade and commerce to develop and natural resources to exploit.

At the start of the game you are presented with a small treasury. You must set about building up your country and working toward full and balanced employment. Your subjects begin as supporters but if you do not bring about the development needed to feed them... well they can turn ugly! How long will you last as Monarch? Good luck!

In this interactive game your Timex Sinclair 1500 is your castle. You are in control of the Kingdom. The decisions you make affect the people you rule. What should you do with the land? What will make the people happy? If you have what it takes to be king, you can keep the crown. If not, lose your throne.
