The Slash version includes one or two envelopes containing the manual (Control Documentation), Travel Guide, Quick Reference Card, If You Have Problems insert, and six 3 1/2" 720K disks. The Slash version can be distinguished from the original Sierra/Dynamix version by these characteristics:
- Both versions comes in a box with a sleeve, however:
- The Sierra sleeve is thinner but higher-gloss printing. The inner Sierra box is a setup box.
- The Slash sleeve is thicker but matte printing. The inner Slash box is a folding box.
- The Sierra/Dynamix version has a system requirements label on the the lower left front corner of the box wrapping to the left spine of the box. The Slash version has no system requirements label and instead has the system requirements printed in black text on a white background in the same location.
- The quality of the contents inside the Slash package are of lower quality than the original Sierra/Dynamix release.
- The disk labels on the Slash version are printed on a dot matrix printer
- The Slash manual (Control Documentation), Travel Guide, Quick Reference Card, If You Have Problems insert are all black print on plain paper and appear photocopied.
