Description from the packaging.
Feudalism is alive and well. Fortress is the strategic simulation in which two rival lords struggle to dominate the countryside. As one of the lords, you try to acquire control by building castles on unoccupied land, by reinforcing your castles, and by forcing your opponent to retreat.
Play against the computer or another person. Each move is critical, you must plan your strategy carefully to maximize your position. One slip and you may have left yourself open to a surprise attack.
In a world where land is power and power is land, do you have the cunning and ruthlessness necessary to become lord of all you survey?
Features:
- Computer opponent that gains experience during play and adapts its strategy to meet your challenges.
- A choice of five computer "personalities."
- Hundreds of possible combinations: you never play the same game twice.
- A game as challenging as chess, but as easy to learn as Tic-Tac-Toe.
