Description from the packaging.

A cold sweat breaks out on your brow as you crank up the engine of your faithful Fokker biplane. In a boisterous and familiar way it sputters to life. Now, in a strange sort of anticipation, you pull back on the throttle stick in front of you and the plane rambles down the runway, finally lurching into the clear blue sky. Airborne again!

Gaining altitude, your nervousness is once more soothed by the crisp autumn air gusting about the open-air cockpit. This mission, you boast to yourself, will be your best yet!

Carefully scanning the patchwork terrain far below, you locate the enemy trenchline in the distance. With a perceptive eye, you soon spy the real target of your mission: an unending line of enemy trucks laden with precious supplies bound for the front.

Now high above the convoy, you determine to transform the targets below into victims. Grimly, you inch the joystick steadily forward, sending you plane into a bone-rattling dive. The lead truck in your sights, you squeeze the trigger to the twin machineguns mounted in front of you. The truck explodes in a burst of flames.

"Eat lead, suckers!" you shout as you pull the plane sharply out of the daring dive. Already you've picked out your next victim. An instant later you feel the fragile body of your biplane shredded by bullets. Furtively glancing over your shoulder, you spy the source of your troubles: an enemy pilot is hot on your tail, his guns spitting hot lead in your direction.

With a savage determination to show this bozo who's the ace, you send your plane into a series of tight loops and rolls, soon maneuvering yourself behind your airborne adversary. "Have a little taste of your own medicine", you cry out, letting loose a hail of bullets into the enemy airplane. Moments later your would-be-foe is hurtling towards the earth below.

The engagement over, the various fissures in your plane remind you its high time to repair the damage and reload some ammunition. You're fortunate; the dogfight carried you right over a friendly airfield. Pushing your joystick forward, you slowly descend to the aerodrome below. "Next time," you repeat, "next time will be the best mission yet."
