An unnerving, frantic adventure game. Find the Temple because it's your only way to escape! On your journey you try to uncover as much treasure as you can, and find the right keys to get through the doors. All the while you're challenged to avoid deadly fumes, poison, magic, cave-ins, bottomless pits, and more! If you get to the temple and locate the Thruster- you've won!

At the beginning of your journey to the Temple of Shazzar, your computer will give you your strength rating. On your quest you will discover treasure, fall into hidden dangers and face monsters. Collect the treasures, for you will need them to enter the Temple as well as to bribe your way past the many barriers. It becomes even trickier when you discover that you can carry only six treasures at a time. Which ones to take? Where to leave the others? How to find those treasures when you need them later? You constantly are faced with decision as you grope your way to your goal. Monsters will attack you. You have four means of defense and four methods of attack. During an encounter with a monster you must respond quickly just as in real battle.

Escape From Shazzar will astound you in its complexities. You may save a game on tape. When you leload it, the game will automatically resume from the save point.
