Description from the packaging.
From the minds of Michael and Muffy Berlyn, creators of award-winning games Suspended, Cyborg, Infidel, and Tasstimes in Tonetown, is the new classic adventure text game where you find out that your interaction with the computer, directing your thoughts and actions, are up against the insanity of L.E.T.S. P.A.R.T.I.
As your professor, Dr. Dumont, leads you to the Research Zone to look at his new experiment, you have no idea what is in store for you - that you will become part...no you will be the experiment. It will be your job to teach this machine to see, hear, and perceive reality. But, you never expected what would follow...
Dr. Dumont directs you to feast your eyes on the gleaming, black, human shaped shell, the size of a sports car. The lid is open...As the Doctor explains how, for particle physics, you need human observation, he pulls up a stool for you to sit on. He double checks the wires in the shell connected to the A.I. computer which is linked to the cyclotron.
The A.I. computer will learn from interacting with the human mind. Metaphors loaded into your brain, with your creativity, find meaning for the metaphors to view particle "X". The A.I. computer then becomes a particle viewing machine for the sub-atomic world. As Dr. Dumont continues to explain his exciting process, he also explains the programming for L.E.T.S. P.A.R.T.I.
You are the "Subonaut"...the first human to ever experience life on the sub-atomic level. What an honor! And the whole think takes place in less that a millisecond. Although, in the black shell, time to you will seem like hours.
As biolink electrodes are attached to your temples, your arms, torso and legs you get nervous and reach to pull yourself out of the dark shell. Instead, your hand hits something and you hear an ominous click. As the lid closes you hear Dr. Dumont yelling "Oh my Gosh! Stop! Wait!... The last think you hear is him shouting "This isn't going to get you an "A" you know!"
From then on, you discover that the machine is insane... and its insanity has begun to affect you. What a thrilling, action packed adventure you are in store for! And you though you'd pick up an extra lab credit... Little did you know where you'd end up!
Dr. Dumont's Wild P.A.R.T.I. is the fabulous new all text adventure game from the wonderfully inventive minds of Michael and Muffy Berlyn, the team that wrote Tass Times in Tonetown, Oo-Topos, Cut Throats, and the classics Infidel, Suspended, and Cyborg. You'll find our new parser very easy to converse with, as it actually anticipates what you are about to say. Between the glowing parser and the brilliant prose of the Berlyns, look for Wild P.A.R.T.I. to set the pace for adventure games.
