Description from the packaging.

Viper V.
Two Tons Of Titanium And Vengeance.

He was designed to explore parts of the galaxy too hostile for human life. Now humankind depends on him for its survival. Viper V.

Since 2782 A.D., a war has raged between the planets of the Sun League and Gar, the ruthless master of a mechanoid race. Now, his robotic army has seized a vital defense base in the Parin system.

But there is hope.

Viper V, under your control, may be able to infiltrate the heavily armed base undetected and re-activate the defense computer - thus destroying the orbiting mechanoid fleet. The time has come to teach Gar a painful lesson. "Never wake a sleeping giant."

33 Kinds of enemy robots, attacking from 4 different directions.
Simultaneous danger. The "multiple combat" feature places heavy metal killers only a bolo bomb away. Some robots are ponderous. Others, nimble. All are deadly. Activate shields and weapons, lock-on target and melt a few mainframes.

Viper's "Object Management System" keeps track of every item in the game.
Suppose you drop a weapon activation circuit. When you return, that circuit will be exactly where you left it. You can even activate a "computer notepad" to log important data and location with the press of a button.

Experience 21st century rapid transit via shuttle or turbo-lift.
Gar's mechanical henchmen have sizzled a circuit board. Better find parts pronto. Jet to 5 buildings in the shuttle and search 25 levels with the turbolift. Move fast. 33 Of Gar's armored assassins are on the prowl, shooting first and interfacing later.

The "Automap" feature retains data on all 25 levels you explore.
Exit the turbolift and punch up "automap" - a device which maps out and displays information on all the levels you cover. Need more detail? Access the "map scanner" and receive additional data on the surrounding area minus the legwork.
