Sparks Imagination!

Escape from Bette's basement as you lead a bunch of shipwrecked Bumptz back to their spaceship. Create simple machines out of everyday objects. Experiment with gravity-defying contraptions. And propel your thinking skills to astounding limits as you go on an adventure so amazing, so packed with science that it's… big!

Explore the boundaries of balance.
Can a small Bumptz weigh more than a large one? Use a hanger to find out. Compare Bumptz, create a standard for measuring their weight, and learn about equivalence as you bounce the Bumptz across a chasm.

Discover the dynamics of density.
Why do some Bumptz sink and others float? Plunk them into a sink full of water to discover how density makes the difference. Then use your findings to retrieve a sunken spoon. In the advanced level, get a taste for salt's effect on buoyancy.

Trigger a chain reaction.
How far can one Bumptz bump another? Harness the energy of colliding Bumptz of different sizes, aiming one into another, as you create a chain reaction that sends the final Bumptz careening to the target.

Create cool contraptions.
Invent your own wacky machines and build cool contraptions that you never thought possible. You can even apply your new understanding of physical science to rebuild the Bumptz spaceship and send them home.

Analyze your results.
Results of tests and experiments are automatically entered in an on-screen notebook. Use it to make observations, identify patterns, and draw conclusions. Now you're doing big- really big- science!
