Description from the packaging.

Formerly Tracon II and Tracon for Windows, with Sound Enhancement.

Traffic. Weather. Hundreds, even thousands of lives depend on your alert reactions to the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) radarscope.

Complex three-dimensional calculations. Fuel consumption and time projections. Pilot and mechanical errors. Natural and man-made disasters. A swarm of flight crews and tower controllers making priority requests by the minute.

Now you can take the chair of the controller, vectoring all the varied approach and departure traffic into a major metropolitan flight sector. Air Traffic Controller (ATC) pushes the limits of realism with new weather and intelligent pilot models. It's a high-stress juggling act, managing communications, approving altitude and heading changes while managing handoffs to other sector controllers or tower controllers.

This is no game. ATC is the latest collaboration of Wesson International's simulation programmers and professional Air Traffic Controllers. ATC is a great way to learn control procedures while lesson simulations teach the control language all pilots and controllers must learn.

You choose among six high-traffic metro control sectors- Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, and Boston. You control everything from general aviation Cessnas to scheduled Boeing 747s. Don't blink or you may overlook a low-fuel message or a request for an altitude deviation or destination change. Realistic weather patterns and random equipment failures challenge your calm.

Links with Microsoft Flight Simulator.
ATC is Microsoft compatible. With your modem or null modem hookups, you can handle as many as four Flight Simulator targets (DOS and Windows versions only). Live link control communications into the Flight Simulator cockpit while their requests appear on your control screen. Other aircraft on your control scope even appear from the cockpit view of the Flight Simulator aircraft.
