17 Bit Software, software distribution company which grew out of the Microbyte retail chain in 1987 and specialized in cataloging, packaging and distributing Public Domain software for the Amiga Market.
17 Bit Software operated until well into the 1990s, and among other things the company established an international network of PD software libraries
