What?? Somebody's offering $1,000 for that timber I bought for $650? Of course I'll sell!! A little capital gain is always helpful in T.G.I.F., Avalon Hill's wacky microcomputer game of zany finance.

Is this Wall Street? Not hardly! On Saturdays you get to go on a treasure hunt. You can never predict what you'll dig up, provided you can find it in time. On Saturdays a shady hammock makes for a restful afternoon. But watch out for Mondays- bad news in the form of bills arrive; "fanmail" you'd be better off without. On Tuesday you can buy a lottery ticket, or two or three. You never know, it might be your lucky day.

Wednesday is "over the hump day"; it's the middle of the week and it's all downhill to Friday. Good news comes on Wednesday in the form of windfall profits. Perhaps a raise in your salary or a wealthy inheritance. On Thursdays you may be able to invest some money, or sell an investment you purchased earlier for profit.

And Friday... Thank God it's Friday! On Fridays you get paid and that means money in your pocket which is, after all, what the game is all about. That is, to get more "Green", and faster than your opponents.

T.G.I.F. is a wonderful party game for two to four players, or you can choose the computer as your sole competition. T.G.I.F. has colorful animated state-of-the-art graphics and sound capabilities for computers so equipped.
