Description from the packaging.

Combat and Flight Simulator.

Every pilot has the dream of flying one of these unique and complex flying machines. Harrier Mission gives you the chance to experience the dream.

Select the practice level, depending on your skill, confidence and courage, you have the choice of staying on the landing pad, learning to hover and land or venturing higher to practice your approaches. When you have mastered these skills you are ready to embark on a combat mission. Accelerate the Harrier in to an attack fighter, use the sweep radar to seek and destroy the enemy by launching heat seeking missiles or by accurate gunnery skills. Take evasive action or release chaff to avoid incoming missiles.

Reckless pursuit is ill advised. You must maintain a fuel level to enable you to relocate and return to the carrier, executing the skills you have learned to successfully land a multi-million dollar machine. You are now ready to proceed to the next level to face additional hazards such as the unpredictable swell and treacherous cross winds. There are six skill levels including the practice level. You will need to coordinate your hands, eyes and mind to complete each mission successfully.
