Description from the packaging.

A fun-filled way to learn all about money.

Donald's mischievous nephews, Hey, Dewey and Louie, would love to have a playground of their own. You can help kind-hearted Uncle Donald build them one.

Walt Disney Personal Computer Software by Sierra captures your child's imagination while developing necessary skills and building knowledge. Stunning graphics, delightful characters, and compelling and challenging activities motivate your child to grasp the concepts involved.

Logical thinking.
Players direct the Amquack Special to make pickup and delivery stops at the eight towns in Duck Country. Your child must help Donald control the switches to guide the train to the correct destination. Players earn money for each package delivered.

Matching skills.
Your child will enjoy working at four different, entertaining jobs along with Donald, earning the money needed to buy playground equipment. Whether working at the produce stand, stocking toy store shelves, or sorting cargo at McDuck Airlines, your child will be challenged to recognize and match shapes, color and letters.

Change-making.
With their earnings, players may buy equipment and construct a playground of their own design. Your child will find everything from swings to monkey bars in either the general store, the hardware store, or the junk shop. With each purchase, your child will develop a better understanding of money-handling.

Help Donald earn money to build Huey, Dewey and Louie a playground of their very own. There are job openings all over town, so Donald should have no trouble finding work.

At the produce market, help Donald catch the fruits and vegetables as they are thrown off the truck. Then help him sort each piece of produce into the correct bin. Three levels of play allow beginners, intermediate and advanced players to practice visual discrimination and eye-hand coordination as they help Donald.

You can help Donald sort toys by shape and color as he puts them away at the toy store. Buy watch out for the Amquack Special- when the train rumbles through town, toys will fall off the shelves unless a safety switch is activated!

The airport is a busy, exciting place! At McDuck Airlines, help Donald sort packages, marked with real airport codes (SFO for San Francisco, PHL for Philadelphia, etc.), into the appropriate carts on the tram. Then watch as the driver of the tram loads the plane, and the plane takes off.

At the Amquack Railroad Station, help Donald guide the train on its appointed delivery rounds through Duck Country. All aboard for fun!

After each shift you can count how much money has been earned as it is deposited into Donald's bank account.

Help Donald shop at the junk store, the hardware store, or the Five and Ten: You can buy monkey bars, swings, slides, rings, a hobbyhorse, a trampoline, and much more.

When you and Donald have made a selection pay for it by using money "earned." If you don't have the exact change, then you must make the correct change out of the cash drawer.

Discover with Donald that you can buy more equipment if you buy the least expensive items first. And learn that the harder and longer you work, the more fantastic the playground you can build!

"Outstanding Educational Product of the Year" awarded by Family Computing Magazine.

"Donald Duck's Playground is undoubtedly one of the best educational games ever devised." - Commodore Microcomputers Magazine.

Donald Duck is one of Walt Disney's most well-known and well-loved of characters. Children fall in with his happy-go-lucky mood when everything goes just right, and laugh at his quick temper when things aren't so ducky.
