Description from the packaging.

In Main Street's first game in its Comic Book Series, Superman attempts to rescue the inhabitants of Metropolis before they're captured by the evil Darkseid. Players can assume the identity of Superman or Darkseid and compete against either the computer or another player.

The Two arch rivals battle in space, in the city's streets and in Darkseid's subterranean lair. For the ultimate in action-strategy, Metropolis has been divided into sections: three at street level and three below ground.

Darkseid shoots his dreaded Omega Ray to both weaken Superman and catch and teleport humans to his underground prison. Superman calls upon his heat-vision to zap Darkseid while using his powers of flight and strength.
